“We have worked with Alexis on a project in 2010 to improve the user experience of our platform Testfieber.de. At this time we had been aware that the website had some basic issues in usability and conversion but we were not really able to put our fingers on what to change in detail, probably because of some kind of ‘insider blindness’. We choose to hire Alexis to get an external and professional view on the problem and were not disappointed.
He quickly grabbed the basic concept and idea of our website and knew how to setup the user tests in a systematic and effective way to find out what was wrong. He has a great sense of how people use and experience a website and a great knowledge of testing methodology. He conducted several usability tests with real users which quickly exposed the basic problems of our user interface and also a list of surprising minor issues which we didn’t expect at all. Together we systematically analysed the results and came up with a detailed list of very helpful and creative ideas of what should be changed.
